If you might have noticed, Google was changing their logos on a daily basis during the entire duration of the Beijing Summer 2008 Olympics. In fact, they do change their logos under certain dates. When I first saw one last April (22 to be exact — Earth Day), I instantly decided to start collecting. With that, I occasionally always stop by Google each time I get connected.
This is a good day to make improvements to where you live, especially to areas connected with plumbing—bathrooms, laundry places and such. You see how to fix something.
For more than a day, I had some laundries soaked in Ariel, a detergent. This morning, since I already bought a cloth conditioner (Downy), I finally had the guts to rinse them. To my surprise, they were cleaner than what I expected. Really, no more visible stains. I guess not all commercials are liars after all. So to all Filipinos out there, start using Ariel now and rinse ’em all the way! Hehe.
Anyway, as usual, many things have gone lately. Last Tuesday I rallied with Neil (a player from the Redbolts team) in Tennis and we hit each other’s balls ( :wtf: why does it sound like a different subject to me 😆 ) like there was no tomorrow. Actually, it was just my second time rallying with him, for I did not even played singles against him during last year’s sportsfest. Now things are seemingly hot. New players have sprouted and old ones have already blossomed. I am obviously excited and nervous for this year’s sportsfest which will start three days from now! On other news, last night was our academic group’s Mini-Litmus in preparation for the (main) Litmus of the upcoming sportsfest. Like the games Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Softball, and Cheering, it’s considered a major activity which means that its corresponding points are higher compared to that of the others. Litmus stands for “Literary-Musical” and is composed of competitions in Vocal Solo, A capella, Poetry in Motion, and Modern Dance. For last night’s activity, the competition was between batches, and the batch that won’t be able to present in an event would have to pay an amount of 300 pesos. The venue was the CFOS-AVR so it was totally something new. Our batch, specifically course, was in charge of the stage and everything (I was on the music baby! Tehe). There were only a few seniors at first and it was so heartlifting how they thought of doing standing ovations every time the representative from our batch finishes. :laugh: :tongue: The night was truly hilarous especially for the case of our batch because some were merely literally pulled to perform on the spot particularly on dancing. Woot~! Many faculty members came as judges this time. It was a night to be absolutely remembered.
I played at the Tennis court twice today — early in the morning and afternoon — and the policeman whom Neil occasionally plays with was present on both. He tells his tales of apparently going on nightouts and watching John Lloyd Cruz movies and other interestingly funny stuff. Ah, been talking so much already. Enough is enough. Before ending this post, the image above is a representation of what I felt as I was about to lose a set to Jetson (my teammate). Score ended in 4-6 after going straight to 1-5. Still good, but not yet good enough.
