Third Year 2nd Semester

Whew, school’s here again. I’m in our computer laboratory taking the opportunity that there are still no formal classes. My classmates are again singing their hearts out via lyrics found in the Internet. John Paul’s been showcasing his voice again. It’s not actually bad, but it sure is funny on how he ‘uses’ it. Last night we went to our ex-dormmate’s (who’s now a teacher) boarding house to celebrate our dormmate’s birthday. One of our CS teachers (whom I saw at Robinson’s Place last Saturday with a date, hehe) also resides in the same house so we were able to have a little chat with her. We ate Piaya, Valenciano Valenciana, and Buko Pie.

The Miss Earth 2007 Coronation Night was last night and it was held in UP Theater again. Last year it was in some sort of government building very open to the public that a hired sniper could easily kill a number of contestants. The male host was VJ Utt of MTV Asia. If you don’t happen to know, like me, he’s a Thai. The candidate from Thailand got in the Top 8 and when she got interviewed, her interpreter was not able to do her job! In fact, she even looked more scared. I’m guessing she was intimidated by Utt’s presence. Blah. Good thing, for the MTV host was there to do the job instead. For today’s happenings, err, I knew from Ben, when I was falling in line at Heaven’s Bliss for lunch, that the new curriculum for our course will no longer include the legendary Math Series — Calculus — 53, 54, and 55. Math100, a somewhat ‘compressed’ version of the three subjects, will take its place. Is it unfair or what? *gonna go and tell my classmates (evul grin)*

    Oooh~!! Piyaya! I prefer egg pie rather than buko pie though… I’ve never heard of Valenciano before, what does it tastes like?

    The winner was half filipino if I’m not mistaken? o__O;

    Poor interpreter. Mas kinabahan pa siya kaysa sa contestant. Bakit ba naman kasi may interpreter pa e? Dapat one requirement to join an international pageant is to be fluent in English.

    Speaking of Thai, I like Thai food. I just don’t like the Thai icetea and the Lemon grass shit. It gives me shivers when I’m reminded I had the courage to taste those… Gah. XP
